Hypnotherapy

What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a completely natural state of mind that every one of us experiences many times a day, the feeling is very similar to day dreaming. Many people think that you are unconscious or asleep whereas the truth is that in hypnosis you can hear everything going on around you, in fact you become more aware of your environment.

Is Stage Hypnosis safe?
Yes. Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state that we all experience it on a daily basis. The 1952 Hypnosis act was amended in 1996 after stage hypnosis was reviewed by an independent panel of experts and found to carry no significant risk factors.

What is the difference between Stage Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy?
The main difference is simply that stage hypnosis is about entertainment whereas Hypnotherapy is used to help people make positive changes in their lives. Both make use of altered states, but both are delivered in a different way. Either one can have long lasting benefits.

Are all Stage hypnotists they same?
Ford Fiesta Vs Ferrari.
Not all hypnotists are the same. In fact, no two hypnosis shows will ever be the same, as for a really successsful show, it depends on the volunteers. Each hypnotist will have their own unique personality which they will bring to the stage. So. like cars, they all get you from A to B, but how quickly, and how comfortably depends on the car.

Will I do something I later regret?
It is impossible for hypnosis to MAKE you do anything that goes against your moral values or beliefs. If any suggestions were made to you that you didn't want to carry out you would simply stop responding. In hypnosis, you will feel very relaxed, confident and pleased at your ability to enter trance and become deeply relaxed. I never degrade or humiliate volunteers as they are the stars of the show.

Is a stage Hypnotism show right for my venue?
The show is suitable for any size venue, large or small. Each show is tailored to your individual needs . Remember too that hypnosis can be a very powerful tool for motivating sales teams, building confidence, and generally showing people how powerful the mind is.

Stage Hypnosis safety and Risk assessment
The health, safety and emotional wellbeing of the volunteers is paramount in each and every show. A detailed risk assessment is carried out before the start of each performance. Each performance is fully insured, and carries £5,000,000 public liability insurance. (which is a must with hypnosis).

Additional staff are provided at each performance, to look after volunteers throughout the show, and to take care of lighting and sound.

The Act conforms 100% to the 1952 hypnosis Act, and where appropriate, licences will be obtained from relevant authoirties.

What do I need to put on a Stage Hypnosis show?

  • A group of people who are willing to test their powers of imagination, concentratation and intelligence, and who want to enjoy a great nights entertainment.
  • A stage area, which can be a floor space, theatre stage, anywhere that can be used as a focus of attention.
  • A signed agreement to state that the show will be video filmed and all those taking part agree to being filmed and agree to the video used for promotional purposes.

What don't you do?
Anything blue or risque during the show. Most hypnotists I have seen are using risque or blue material, which is not what I do. My show is based on clean family type fun, where no-one is humiliated or degraded, and they wont be ashamed to show the video to their granny!

If an X rated show is what you're after, then DONT book me!

Will you travel to venues?
Pretty much anywhere, obviously with prior arrangements. Any overnight stays will be in addition to the show fees, and will be the sole responsibility of the client.

When can I book?
Right Now. Just use the contact details form on this site to send me your enquiry and I'll get back to you within 2 days.
